European law firm Fieldfisher has hired leading oil and gas specialist Paul Stockley to join its Energy and Natural Resources Group in London.
Paul will join the firm as Co-head of Oil and Gas in November.
He was previously Head of Oil and Gas at Womble Bond Dickinson and has over 20 years' experience acting for leading oil and gas companies, both in the UK and internationally.
He also previously worked in-house at Hess Corporation and, on secondment, at Shell.
With extensive sector knowledge gained from working on various transactions and projects in the UKCS and across the world, Paul's experience covers the full exploration and production cycle.
Paul's appointment will further boost Fieldfisher’s growing reputation as one of the leading law firms advising oil and gas companies at a pivotal time for the global hydrocarbons sector.
His recruitment follows a number of significant investments Fieldfisher has made in its internationally-spread Energy and Natural Resources Group in recent years and further cements its position as one of the key mid-market firms for oil and gas expertise.
