My main areas of practice
I have been working in the field of data protection since 1993 and have many years of experience - both in law firms and as in-house counsel in the technology industry.
My specialities are negotiations - whether with authorities or contracts - and complex projects. I am very active internationally, especially in the US-American region as well as for Asian companies, and have also worked for several years as a partner in our office in the USA (Silicon Valley).
I am the data protection officer for a large number of companies in Germany and at EU level.
I am particularly familiar with data protection law in some sectors: AdTech, hardware, automotive, finance, social media, telecommunications and cloud computing.
As another area, I like to support new topics, advise the development in the area of artificial intelligence and digital services. Furthermore, I have been advising on IT contracts for many years and also accompany projects.
I advise my clients in German and English.
Personal engagement
I am a trained mediator and as such enjoy working on conflicts.
