Working on projects round the world (and beyond) is always exciting. Our support for Space Norway on the world's first dedicated Arctic mobile broadband service is a real highlight, including the procurement and customer agreements and financing transactions.
Among other major projects, I advised a leading international payment service provider on its UK regulatory authorisation and a UK bank on its global outsourcing venture for electronic trade finance services.
I have been honoured to receive a range of accolades, including being recognised as a Global Elite Thought Leader 2025 in Space/Satellite (one of only two UK law firm partners recognised) and Client Choice lawyer for Transport (including Space/Satellite) 2025 (the sole UK law firm partner recognised) from Lexology Index global review.
These awards build on previous recognition as being Recommended for Space and Satellite Law in the Who's Who Legal/ Lexology Index global review every year from 2021 to 2024, alongside being listed among the Best Lawyers in the UK for IT Law 2024, and winning the Global Award as Technology Lawyer of the Year 2020 from Corporate LiveWire. Previous awards include Technology Lawyer of the Year – London from Acquisition International, the International Law Office award as UK telecom lawyer of the year, the Corporate Live Wire title as Space Transactions UK Lawyer of the Year and Finance Monthly's Dealmaker of the Year.
Legal 500 says I am " diligent and provide good client service", while Chambers comments that I am "excellent all round" and "well known for my work on major projects for infrastructure, financial services and telecoms clients." Client recognition includes: "He has a vast wealth of experience, is super responsive and is very good at thinking around matters."
I am a regular speaker and commentator on my chosen specialist areas.
Having worked in both France and Germany, I speak both these languages fluently.
Outside work, I enjoy hiking and skiing, when time allows.
