I work on a variety of high-value complex international commercial litigation and arbitration disputes. I am also a fluent Arabic speaker with a particular interest in MENA-related matters.

I have assisted in a wide range of disputes, including:

  • defending an African state in a USD 2bn+ ICC arbitration claim in Geneva concerning alleged breaches of a telecoms licence;
  • acting for a developer in obtaining ex parte pre-emptive injunction against the 'world at large', protecting their development site from trespass;
  • acting for Genius Sports in a claim for infringement of database rights against Betconstruct which settled out of court in December 2022 when the Defendant agreed to purchase a licence for Genius Sports' market-leading data [Genius Sports Technology Ltd v Soft Construct (Malta) Ltd [2022] EWHC 2637 (Ch)]
I am a member of Fieldfisher's Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre Administration Team. My involvement with the award-winning Pro Bono Centre began when I was a student at Queen Mary, University of London and I continue to support their work in providing free legal advice.
